Nightime lighting

Hey everyone, I took these pictures for a client of mine. Can you guys please give me some feed back? I'm looking for what I can do better. Thank you in advance.

For me personally, they are all too dark. A longer exposure would probably help on all of them. Especially photo number 2, I have no clue what I am looking at.

On #4 as well, I can see the outline of the chairs, but I don't see them all too well..

On the last shot, I think your positioning seems to be off. My eye is drawn not only to the steps, but also to the building behind it, and it is cut off so I am missing something on the photo.

I appreciate the feedback. I agree about being dark, the reason for that is they own a company that installs outdoor lighting and requested it be a little dark to emphasize the lighting. Also most pictures were takin around 30 sec exposure

Okay, yeah, that angle does make sense why they are darker then haha. I like them a lot better now because they do serve their purpose.

With that in mind, I just think that #2 has too much of a dark patch, also from a commercial point of view, as I can see the lights, but also a lot of dark, which raises the question, is the light doing what it is supposed to do well enough?
