Nikkor AF-S VR 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED

Hi,

Have read this forum a lot but have never posted. I just have a very general question to do with the cost of a AF-S VR 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED Lens.

Basically im looking to purchase said lense and and i am curious to know how much they retail for in the US. Im in ireland and they go for around 550Euros (about 730 US Dollars). I am visiting New York next month and was wondering if anyone woud have any idea how much they would retail for in NY to see if it is would be worthwile waiting to buy it when i visit.
