I'm not a huge macro buff but I do enjoy doing it from time to time. For those of you who have experience with this lens will it get the job done when paired with my D800?
Nikon 60mm af-s macro lens?

It will 'get the job done', but you may find the FOV too wide for skittish critters..... you'll need to get close and personal in order to fill the frame in some cases.
