I picked up a Nikon D750 today with a low shutter count, less than 7500 actuations. The serial number falls into the range for a Technical Service Advisory. I plan on shooting with it for a couple weeks to see if there is any problems or should I just send it in for the recall?

On a 10+ year-old model, I'd find out if Nikon would now do D750 TSA work. In the past, TSA services often had expiry dates due to parts availability.

I already talked to Nikon and the TSA still applies today.

Then go for it if it doesn't take forever. They'll likely return a like-new camera.

I decided to go ahead and send it in even though there doesn’t seem to be an issue. I would hate for the TSA to end and then have an issue.

Definitely worth sending it in because it will be like a new camera, they'll even clean the sensor and usually install all new rubber grips as they need to be removed anyways. I bought one recently myself but it didn't fall into the service advisory but mine only had 2500 on the shutter which is crazy.

Enjoy the D750, it's an awesome camera!

I thought 7500 was low, 2500 is crazy. I snagged a D7100 with less than 1300 clicks a few months back. I had to ask the salesman to check it for me. After I bought it he told me I was lucky I didn’t go home to think about it, because he would’ve bought it.

Well the D750 has been dropped off at UPS. Hopefully, it doesn’t take too long to get it back. I’m anxious to get started with it. A D500 is next on my list.
