nikon s550

hi all
i have just joined this forum in hope to learn a lot
so here is my first question.
i just bought a nikon s550 and am very happy but after reading the manual i cant seem to find how to slow down the shutter speed manually
surely this modern camera has this option?
can anyone help

you cant with the s550.. its just a basic point and shoot camera..
