What's more amazing is that TWO cameras went foul at the same time, and you STILL had a 3rd backup and pulled it off. Hats off!

Its a habit that I picked up during my assisting days, to have a back up for a backup.
But repairing a camera multiple times is a PitA, especially when its the primary body that goes.
Next camera I want is a D4. I got a chance to briefly work with it and enjoyed every second of it.

I see your positive story here. I don't know if I'd have waited for the 4th repair, but they stepped up and did the right thing when you brought it to their attention.
I've heard good things with Nikon repair and had awesome luck with Canon services. Tamron is the bane of my existence.

I didn't have much of an option as to send the camera in for repairs. Just this time around I had that day to waste of driving to them and turn on the @$$[-]0le mode, yet respectful since it wasn't the fault of the person receiving the camera.
