A friend of mine accompanied me to the camera store to pick up my Z9. We brought it back to my house and he captured some video clips of unboxing and incorporated a few first pictures. It’s nothing to “write home about” but was a fun little experience. This is a very complex camera and will take some time to learn all its nuances.
I am now all-in on Nikon mirrorless with a Z7 for travel and Z9 for work. I have the Z 24-70/4 S, Z 24-70/2.8 S, Z 70-200/2.8 S, and Z TC 1.4x teleconverter.
I sold most all my f-mount gear. I still have a D800 w/ MB-D12 grip and a 2x TC II to sell. From the short time I’ve spent with the Z 9 I know I’m going to be very happy with it. I’m primarily a portrait photographer and do some events from time to time. The AF on this system will be great and the sensor cover will help keep it clean during lens changes.
Happy Holidays All !!!
