Honestly, does Nikon really listen to its customers? Fuji got this right in 2014 with the X-T1 and stuck with it. Nikon? Not so sure...Some serious Holiday discounting could make it a hit. Or not.

If it was simply an existing camera rebadged the Zf would be all style, but it turns out that it has plenty of substance too.

I'll stick with my Df. The puny DX sensor of the Zf kills it for me.
Edit: The FM & FE were just a bit above the bottom of the barrel in their day, but they were popular. This digital imitation will probably sell well (Nikon knows more about marketing than I).

Dude, the Zf is full frame for 2 grand US...

BTW, the FM/FE variants were solidly mid-market pre-AF models.

Yikes! I rushed and looked up the wrong camera specs. I appreciate the correction.
And while the FM/FE were indeed very well made, I have to believe there's a reason Nikon rated their expected shutter actuations at about 1/3 that of the F cameras.
