I just commented on Neil Peart the other day and I just found out that he died on Tuesday. What a shame, rock & roll has lost a living legend. RIP, bro, you'll be sorely missed.

I just found out tonight as well. This makes me incredibly sad. That band has been part of my life since I was 7 years old - literally. I used to sneak my brother's copy of 2112 and listened to it over and over again. I wrote out the lyrics from the album lining so I could memorize when he was home and I had to put the record back in its place.
