hmm maybe you could explain to us what we're looking at here.
Sometimes I think it's a really weird boat ramp. - Who has lines on a boat ramp and why is there a pole right there in the middle.
And other times I think it's a road that's had water photoshopped on it.
Either way it's a very pretty photo. The subtle pinks and blues in the water are very nice.
I like it how the big stones draw my eyes to that pole thing - so I'm always wondering what's going on here?!

It's a slipway with the incoming tide washing over it (a long exposure).
The double yellow lines are there to stop people parking there when the tide is out. Seems pretty sensible to me...
Again one of your long exposure water photos, Bishopsmead, that I've come to like through your Port Nanven photo. Very nice - and yes, it is quite wise, indeed, not to leave your car there when it looks ok to do so - with the sea within six hours things may change drastically from "ok" to "not ok at all" .
