Ok ok we've all been there, playing with crazy colors, but 1 is pretty crazy. 2 has nice composure and structure, but borders oversaturation (still a very nice photo). The two portraits have great use of lighting, esp 5. Nice work, look forward to seeing more.

I think the first 2 were ruined by the heavy tints, I would like to see the original versions. I really like the portraits.

thanks! you are all right about the colours, I think its easy to get carried away with editing tools! I will try to tone it down with future pics :)

I like #2, but I think I'd pull back the saturation a bit and tighten the crop or clone out the two bits of litter (?) in the foreground. :) To my untrained eye, the white balance seems to need a second look.

Fun stuff! Keep at it.

The first three are oversaturated but WOW #2 is really pretty! I like the first portrait but i dont like the sepia in either of them...

I think it must just be me that likes the sepia look as a few other pics Ive put up have had the same comments!... but I cant help it, I just like the soft colours!

I looove the second one, though I gotta agree with the previous comments about over-saturation. :(
And never fear, I am a lover of sepia also.

I can tell you a bit about it as I am new aswell, if you want some feedback on your pictures then this is the place to be... but you occsasionaly need thick skin as there are alot of photographers on here that know what they are talking about and its not their job to sugar coat their comments. Its all honest advice, very helpfull and great to see what others notice on your pictures.. I have learned alot, eg. that im not as observant as I thought I was... and I have recieved some very good advice and so far found everone that has commented on my pictures to be respectfull and helpfull!
I had trouble uploading pictures to start with as im not the most computer savvy but a very kind member "the travaller" sent me a link to help me! So far Ive found everyone on here will give you any help they can! if you need any more advice just send me a private email and id be happy to help... if I can that is!:)

#1 too much violet. #2 too much cyan. #3 too much yellow. I rather like #3 subject wise, but I love Hindu and Indian Buddhist art. I'd like to see the original, or at least an edit that doesn't make my eyes squirm.

the original was very dark looking, I thought I did a good job of editing but I think I took it too far! here you go... to me the original is just a holiday snap!... god I wish i had my dslr then!
:)

and the other originals, looking at the comparisons i can see i went way too far with the colour saturation!
