Noisy.. WTF?

Do these photos look abnormally noisy? The were taken with shutter priority at 250 ISO on a D80.. Normally great with noise up until about 800 ISO.. What could have gone wrong? They were shot in RAW and edited in CaptureNX.. Noisy before editing. Thanks!!

Not abnormally noisy. The scene is just extremely contrasty with the bright sun. So it looks a bit as if the dark parts are slightly underexposed (no chance to avoid this in this light). Pulling these dark parts up normally needs to some extra noise.

The background has a slightly hectic bokeh, but this is not noise.
