Noob, feedback greatly appreciated.

I shot this last weekend. I'm pretty new at this compared to most people on here. I'd love to know what tips, concerns, advice etc you guys have. Thank you in advance! Y'all are awesome! :mrgreen::heart:

Really digging the 2 B/W shots. Like the concept of #1, but your DOF is too shallow, and the slightly out of focus table/setting is distracting. Great shots overall.

The pictures look good to me but the boarder and the logo are distracting to me. I think that the compositions are good but by adding those two things, it sort of squishes them. (JMHO)

I'm not a huge fan of this type of processing, but I think it's fairly popular with others. My comment is to watch the backgrounds in these types of shots. In the first B&W, it appears that she has a unicorn horn sticking out of her forehead and out of her eye which I find a bit distracting. On the top 2, I find myself questioning the purpose of the photograph. I just don't understand the table in the middle of the woods, and the background is also distracting to me.

Otherwise, not bad.

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate your feedback. Never even noticed the unicorn transformation going on. I'll be more attentive to detail next time. It was just a fun tea party in the forest shoot we decided to do. Nothing too earth shattering. Thanks again

Probably sounds like a ridiculous question but, as far as my DOF being too shallow, could you elaborate on that a little? I'd so appreciate it! Thanks

The logo isn't on the image? It's below it. What's preventing you or obscuring your view of the photo itself?

For being a self proclaimed noob, OP, you have a good eye. Keep shooting! If I were to have one nit pick, I would say the black and shot is overly contrasty.

Or the nicer way of saying, "Don't steal my ****." Sure, still stealable, but most won't go through the trouble to crop out just the photo. Having photos stolen sucks.

OP, I can't add anything that everyone else has already mentioned. Your off to a great start. Keep it up!

My suggestions are that if you want people to actually look at and critique your pictures, post fewer, number them, ditch the border and post larger images.

There isn't enough actual picture shown to do more than give an overall impression and that's of limited use.

Lastly, allow editing, no one will steal or hurt your pictures; many times it just oo difficult to make suggestions that are subtle without showing it.

Interesting concept. Judging from the prominent brand and logo, I'm guessing you want to make a business out of photography. That being the case, I would ditch the logo and not worry about it until you don't need to ask someone to explain DOF. Prioritize your energy.
