Noob question about SD cards. lawls

So you recommend getting a 16gb thum drive and emptying my card everytime onto the thumb drive? What if the drive gets corrupted? lol

Backup all shots onto a thumb drive if at all possible. If the thumb drive gets corrupted, you still have the images on the cards. Reformat the drive and copy all your shots again. Unless you start to fill up your cards, then start shopping for another card locally. They're pretty common, but might be kinda pricey in a pinch.

In short, try to have two copies of every shot until you get home.

I think I might just stroll down to the Futureshop or something and snag a few 4gb cards. Then a thumb drive of some sort.

Not sure what camera you are using, I use and tested a Nikon D7000, which also can use UHS speed class SDHC cards...

What this means is, the numbers go from Class 10 for the fast SDHC,
back to 1 for the even faster UHS class cards...

and, I found no difference in burst rates with the Class 6 or 10 cards... and did see improvement with the UHS class 1 card...

I'm not sure if eye-fi would work with your camera but it uploads automatically to your home computer or facebook etc. if you are within a network hotspot. Also remember the more images you shoot the more batteries you may need.

I prefer a 32GB or higher iPad with the proper adapter and just copy your SD card to the iPad daily
