NOOB test shots

I just go a canon powershot xs30 IS. Took a few pics messing around to understand the functions. The first pic I took with a point and shoot digital camera, n kinda got me into wanting to do photography more as a hobby.

I took this pic in the Baltimore aquarium.

These were with the new camera. Again im new and still learning the different functions and settings so be kind lol.

Thanks for the comments. I am tryin to read as much as I can but these terms are all new to me. I really got this camera so my g.f can take pics of me at my fights (MMA) and for me to pass time as a hobby. Ppl laugh when they find out I like to do this b.c of me being a fighter lol but it is relaxing.

She is very pretty

The last two sepia images look really flat, you might want to play with the curves in PS to see if you can make it a bit better.

On the second picture I love this angle for pets however you could have gotten closer and had a little less floor in the picture, also some of the highlights are blown. The background is a bit distracting too, you have to watch that, it looks like hes getting kicked in the head!

The first picture of the umm.. alligator or crocodile? well its dead center and I think this picture would be nicer if you had some better composition. Look up on the rule of thirds it might help a bit

Beautiful shots. The reflection of the alligator is the most telling part of the photo but the background could have been better framed with the picture.

I love them all on the whole though.

I liked #2 the best..of course there are some flaws as pointed out in earlier posts but nothing a little PP cant fix.
Your GF is pretty...its good you have someone who poses for you.
