IMHO, it's nice and some others may like their pictures exposed this way better but I like the overall scene with the darker, richer, vivid colors/dim lighting better in Beach 2. It's a personal preference of course.

It's mistical. Sorry. No, I like the light highlighting the mist coming up from the waves. I wonder how a little closer crop emphasizing that would look.

my favorite of these so far. the colors (esp. the blue in the sky) look very natural in this one.

Thanks for the comments folks. I actually like this the best of the 3. I think the colors are more natural and subdued.
