No, that is how the landscape is, hilly and old farmland. It was taken with a fish-eye attachment which could have been part of the warped look of the edges and corners but that's the only thing I can think of.
Intense colours ... did you up the saturation some in pp? And very sharp ... looks actually oversharpened to me. You did apply some pp? (Post processing)?
