Northern Jacana

After some torrential rains, there were big puddles all around that attracted several Northern Jacanas. They were difficult to get near and I hope to get some good shots of them flying since they have striking yellow under the wings. It is supposed to rain today, maybe they'll come back. It is a little tough to see but check out the ginormous feet.

Interesting bird. If you ever get some closer, frontal shots be sure and put them up.
