Not-for-fun but more FYI - small town Shan states, Myanmar

Not so much of a 'picture' picture but a snap of a little child imitating a thumbs up from a white guy.
He was so pleased that he could do it, he did it for 5 minutes.
White faces in a cafe generally for the locals in a relatively out of the way small town in Myanmar were a shock and even more that we actually played with him.

This is a typical row of stores in the same small small town, known for its trekking and thus drawing mostly low end backpackers ratehr than big tours in rented buses.

This is an outing from a local school all chanting something meaningful to them, not so much to us because it was in the language of the Shans.
