Aw... he's kinda cute. :lmao:

really??? come on over...I'll give ya all the babies that I keep finding...you can home grow some of your own...as for me...I feel like they are crawling all over me. ew

Oh I hate it when it one gets that feeling.

well...we are still finding the babies here and there, I just pick them up and put them outside.
I wouldn't have even asked here, but I wanted to know if this ever happened to anyone else, because when we called the farm they acted all NORMAL and said "spray the tree with bug spray...it was out in nature"...so a WHOLE can of bug spray later and the lil Fkrs wouldn't die...I said Enoughs enough! a couple spiders I can deal with....a god damn ARMY of them I can't!
I will probably NEVER again sit on the couch that was next to the tree...lol

They normally are dead by November here because of the hard freezes and cold weather drive them indoors. You just made an easier route for them.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
:lmao: I almost just fell out of my chair laughing!!!!

I mean in the PICTURE. *I* certainly don't WANT him! :lmao:

I do I do I DO!!!
Send in here to me - to mee!

But only one mind, I'm not allowed to keep pets in this flat, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind one little spider - esp a cute jumper.

**ps I'm totally arachnophobic but even I like jumping spiders¬!

Uh? Yeah? I mean, do you WANT spiders in your house just chillin'? I wouldn't, but that's just me. It seems like a pretty logical answer. Tree has spiders: Do you like spiders?

A) Yes
B) No

If you chose A, keep the tree in your house and enjoy the company of several jumping "black ass" spiders (potentially could be wielding firearms). If you chose B, get the tree the **** out of your house asap.

:biglaugh:

::LITERALLY. CAN'T. BREATH. LAUGHING. TOO. HARD.::

Just laughed so F***'n hard coffee damn near shot out of my nose. :biglaugh: My nose burns. :er:

Ok the spider thing... really REALLY sucks... but im sorry the sarcasm behind this thread is just ...hysterical! Bwahah!

LOL. Awesome thread.

A lot of spiders (maybe all of them?) are immune to poisons, so bug spray wouldn't work anyway.

We have a black widow infestation at work pretty much every year (I mean, thousands of them, everywhere you look. Big fat ones too.). We called an exterminator out to get rid of them, and they said that they don't have anything that can kill them.

The only wait to get rid of them is to get rid of their food supply (which would have been impossible) and wait for them to starve to death or go somewhere else.

I've thought about putting some of them in a film canister to bring home to take pictures of it, but I wouldn't know WTF to do with it when I was done.

Killing it just seems kinda mean, but on the other hand, I don't want it anywhere near my apartment, lol.

BTW - they say that you are NEVER more than 4 feet away from a spider - they are everywhere...

Also, they are the coolest spiders to take macro shots of.. the eyes are huge and unreal

*Shudder*

I'm glad they let you take the tree back and pick out a new one! I suppose there is something to be said for artificial trees - no creepy crawlies included (that is, unless they breed in the box in the basement over the summer!)
