Sorry for flooding but for some reason these things turn up every where at the moment, the first shot meant explaining to the 7yo why the one on top was dancing... For some reason there seems to be a collection of the things on the hdd :er: http://www.scientificillustration.net/_temp/ladybird_09.jpg http://www.scientificillustration.net/_temp/ladybird_01.jpg http://www.scientificillustration.net/_temp/ladybird_02.jpg http://www.scientificillustration.net/_temp/ladybird_05.jpg http://www.scientificillustration.net/_temp/ladybird_07.jpg http://www.scientificillustration.net/_temp/ladybird_08.jpg Thanks for looking tim
[Ah yes, those difficult questions that children ask! And you've got to be 'quick on your feet' to answer them.] The detail in this shot is phenomenal, right down to the fuzz on the leaves.
Thanks guys, I have no idea what the white stuff is, could it be some kind of insect egg? It is on a bramble bush, that a lot of the leaves have been eaten, if it is insect eggs could it also be ladybird? Does anyone know what these yellow ones eat? tim
