What's new

Now that's big and fast!

Prob got the DOF of 1/2 a piece of thin rice paper.

Depends on how far away the subject (focus) is. On a full frame body at 100 ft, it'd be about 7 feet of DOF. At 10 feet, it'd be about .07 feet of DOF, which is a little over 8/10 of an inch.

I was attempting photography humor. I'll try harder next time.

:coffee:

I can't tell.. is there an aperture ring?

Is this an actual photographic lens or was it specifically design for a particular purpose (x-ray lens, recon, etc.) If its to take pictures of the ground while in flight above, the fast aperture and shallow DOF shouldn't be a problem.... most of the time, its at infinity.

No matter what it is made for, it's quite impressive!
