Is there anything I can do to improve this image?
Is it waaay too noisy?

It's certainly not too noisy...it takes a whole hell of a lot of noise to ruin a B&W pic.

I think a slightly closer crop (especially on the right) would do this shot some good. The main draw in the image is the flame, obviously and it is just a bit too close to horizontal center for my tastes in this capture. (But please, for the love of Ansel, keep it in at least near 4x6 format )
