Since I got some Minolta lenses from my dad (which I can't use on my Nikon), I was looking into selling some or getting a roundabout price on what to price it at. One of the lenses is a Minolta Maxxum 50mm f:1.4 (22). KEH has that version, but the numbers in parentheses are (49) or (55). What do these numbers mean? and is there a reason they wouldn't buy a (22)?

I'm sure it's something ridiculously easy, but I can't figure out or find a good answer on google

Filter thread diameters. Minolta had many 49mm and 55mm thread lenses back in the day.

Ok, I have the diameter symbol and 49 on the lense, but that doesn't explain the (22). Any idea on what that is?

50mm f;1.4 means the lens has a 50mm focal length, and the maximum aperture is f/1.4. The (22) is the minimum aperture of f/22, which is the physically smallest opening.
