I've yet to see one actually sitting on a nut... nice shot!

These stumpy little birds are one of my favorites! I love watching them going up and down tree trunks in this manner, like woodpeckers. There's a word for that type of motion because not all birds can do it, but it escapes me atm.

This is a nice capture - shows off the bright plumage of the male. I think the females are more gray.
