Went to NYC yesterday with a friend of mine, my plan was the buy the Sigma 10-20 for my Sony A100. We went to 2 stores and neither had it, so we went back to Calumet a 2nd time :p and i bought the Sony 11-18 f4.5-5.6....after using for only one day and just trying to get a feel for it, I love it! Anyway, here are some shots from the day

These are from a graffiti wall on the corner of Spring and Elizabeth

here's the graffiti wall in all of its glory:

and the next 6 are random around the area

this last one was shot in sort of a Lomography fashion, and i liked the way it came out

c&c's please

Graffti shots look great esps the im gonna kick your ass one

thanks for the comments! the mailbox shot is my personal favorite as well...

even though i had a super wide angle lens i was trying to get different angles and perspectives of NYC as opposed to the standard brooklyn bridge and top of empre state shots

thanks again

Really cool shots!

I really like these. 4 and 8 being my favorites. Ive been to NYC and yes its great to see a different perspective other than the obvious :)

Those are all really cool shots! I like them all! :D

Love those pictures. The "kick your ass" is my favorite.

I just got a wide angle lens myself and really loving it.

Looking forward to see more pictures from you taken with that lens

I wish you would have numbered them...

I like the smiley and the I'm gonna kick your ass one. The one with the chain link fence in the foreground is also very good.
