The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. Usually, we'd want someone walking into the frame rather than out of the frame, but in your image, I think it works well, speaking about the fleeting nature of things, our perceptions, the footprints in the sand, everything is 'leaving.'

I like the lighter sand at the bottom quarter, and the edge of the water at the top one/third. And I like the water following the person's leading foot. Your shutter speed was just fast enough to stop it.

Pretty cool.
