Oceanarium C+C please

Oceanarium on South Coast of England. Go easy, only been at photography for 3 months...

hmm, the subject may be something to work on here. Perhaps photographing from a different angle or simply something inside that tells me more about what this "oceanarium" is about may help the viewer.

as it is, if you didn't post "oceanarium" i wouldn't know that I was looking at one. I see "cean" on the building but nothing else.

I think if this were simply an architecture photo without the letters on the side of the building, it would be much more interesting to me. Right now, I am drawn to the letters wondering what they spell. Also, for some reason I am distracted by the waves, but that could just be me.

I have to agree with both the above; always try and take multiple shots from different angles. Very often, the shots we see in our minds aren't the ones that look best when you're processing. What was your intent with this image? What did you want to show?

Thanks for the feedback. I liked the shapes and soothing blueness across the photo but point taken it doesn't really tell the viewer much. Different viewpoints would not have worked in this case as the surrounding area is filled with other buildings and even a pier to distract in which case I should have possibly ruled this one out. Saying that, I think I will try it again and see if I can get the same colours and shapes while also considering what the image is telling the view and trying multiple viewpoints and perspectives. Thanks again.
