I don't think the sunglasses work fit into the landscape this way. Maybe needs to be done somehow differently. Or sometimes experiments are just that and don't always work out.

Agree completely. What are we meant to be looking at? Is one half of the image meant to inform the other?

Interesting that this image causes some thinking of hidden message or any other expression.
That was not my intention. It is much much simpler than that:
I just saw the glasses sprayed on the back of a sign and tought that I maybe could make some weird, unserious and quite ugly picture of it.

Oh! that's what it is! I think maybe a different angle or perspective might have worked better, maybe showing part of the signpost. This looked like a gray square with sunglasses on it got photoshopped into the scene at a rather odd angle.

I thought of letting the post to be seen, but it then should be too obvious and not at all so frustrating to look at.
