Ode to W. Haldane (pearl + Ottawa)

I was moved with this art work. Reminded me of my grandfather, who spent a great deal of time with me as I was growing up. He was always teaching me mechanical things. I miss him dearly. I wish he were alive today or that I had thought of taking a picture of his hands. They were working man's hands that were impossible to get clean. Even the mortician couldn't get his hands clean.
