awesome, whats their max range about? i just need something so i can place the flash wherever i need it, since i really cant afford another flash unit. Any major problems with them?

A lot of people use them. The next cheapest but most reliable lower priced trigger I know of is the Paul C. Buff Cyber Syncs. I think it's like $120 for a transmitter and receiver.

The reliabiliity issue is always hit or miss with those things. There's nothing that can touch them for the price, so they're good if you're just learning and don't want to spend more money on a set of triggers or don't know what set you'd really like or need.

I think the stock rated range is 30'. Anything outside of that may start to produce spotty firing. Then again, you may end up with a good set and they might work better than that.
