oh boy... first camera equipment purchase

I'm purchasing my first piece of camera equipment.

softbox and strobe and that big shiny umbrella thing. Hope nobody outbids me on the ebay auction *crosses fingers*.

And I also hope my pictures will turn out a lot better than with my ugly yellowish 150watt flood lights I found in the basement .

paid and e-mailed the seller couple of times. no reply. He's got really good feedback but now I'm a little scared I paid $300 for a scam. Has anyone bought from him/her?

we got our system from him and several things since ... we got it shipped to us within a week .. hmmmmmm .... wonder whats going on? :? ... he's been reliable to us .. he even sold us items at discount without auction (since we were returning customers)

okay, finally got in touch with the seller.
turns out he shipped it already without telling me and I should have it in my hands by next week.. YAY TOYS YAY!
