Oh dear its more deer (critique requested)

Deer from the BWC (I am not addicted - no really I am not -----) from aages ago (slow editor) but here they are at last.
All taken with Canon 400D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS + 1.4 TC

A bright day, though I think on the whole the exposures work, what I think does need changing is the crop of the shots - I think some creative cropping can move these from meh to slightly better than meh (And yes I do like my middle AF point )

eh? now how did that fox sneak in?
bars defiantly affected this shot a lot - though there is something about it I like - still no idea if it works or not, and I had to add a lot of contrast to most areas (barring the middle of the shot) to reduced the effect that the bars had.

1 and 2 my favourites although i dont usually like the body and legs to be cut off.

Also find the background shadow a bit distracting.

Would have been great if the fox was looking at you...

Thanks PT - honestly I wanted to get a closer crop in general, but not enough range (and some silly person put a fence in the way) and zooming out would have shown the fencing surrounding.

I still don't know how I feel about the fox shot -
