Oh Deer!

So I was out on a stroll on my lunch break and where I work there is a little ravine that leads to a pond behind one of the other companies. I noticed something from the distance and to my surprise it was 3 deer....white tailed deer I think. Problem was I didn't have my camera!!!! I always have it with me on my strolls but this one time I didn't. I was close enough to work to run back and get my camera, jump into my car and hope that they were still there. Luckily they were and I managed to get 2 images from a distance. I took only 5 steps forward really slow but they bolted.

This image is about a 70% crop, not the best but it was quite the experience for my first deer sighting

Yep, that's a white tail. And you sure as heck did a good job getting this nice clear pic before it bolted. Nicely spotted.

You need to drop to the floor and crawl slowly so your shape is hidden. Walking towards wildlife will always result in it fleeing unfortunately
