I too didn't think I would hear that George Carlin had passed away. I didn't realize he was 71 years old. He was the best and he will be missed.

geez, I must have been hiding under a rock the past few days as this is the first I have heard of it. I was only watching a movie the other night with him in it. Not sure what it was.

Very sad news. He was brilliant. Thats a huge hole in the comic world that he has left. Said it like it was. Very smart and well informed which is very rare in comedians. RIP.
