We went to Munich for Oktoberfest 2013 opening weekend. Well obvioulsy photography wasn't the main attraction of the weekend, so I only took my X100 to get some shot along the way.

Good on you for remember to take some shots before you had too many "shots".

But ... another example of why combining photojournalism and sport, in the same category, is a complete nonsense.

Very interesting.....we're going to visit our son in Grafenwoher next year, possibly during Octoberfest. we can't wait!

@Derrel : Yeah that is quite a nice condensate of German Folklore! Loads of fun and songs, though obviously as the night go on, people go down!

@Ace : yeah, took me a bit of time to wonder where I should post.... categories are not quite clear IMO

@Sonic : you should definelty have a go at Oktoberfest and Munich, really nice and usually the weather is good at this time of the year.

Please don't think I am having a "go" at you. I think you have placed it exactly where you should have.
My concern is that I think this category just doesn't make sense to have them grouped together. I fail to see any connection.
