After walking up and feeling the rough texture of the rocks and concrete, and the dryness and decaying wood, I had to get a shot of this.. I centered the door simply because I like the textures on each side.. I think they go well with the centered wood of the old door..

BTW, I didn't see a # 56 or # 58... I think they gave it up a long time ago..

I just want the door to be towards a side; actually if you have such an image too, please post that also; then, without theory's interference we can judger which sounds better; barring this doubt, this is a classic image

Great textures and forms! I like the crop, not so much because the door isn't centered, but because the door and surrounding wood areas are larger - they are more interesting than the stone wall. Hey, aren't those bricks over the door the actual color of bricks? I thought this was a black and white. What are you trying to do here? Seriously, it looks a little funny. Go with a sepia tinted black and white or leave it entirely black and white.
