These were photos taken at the Grand Canyon in the summertime a few years ago. I was finaly able to scan the negatives in, as I was using a film camera at that time. Enjoy!

wow...what a place. Excellent series. !!

I've been there several times. It's a magical place. Light and color change so fast every photo seems different.

Good shots. I think you were standing in some of the places I had been at.

nice shots, i especially like #3, something about the composition I guess, it just "feels" good. the foreground helps add depth to the shot while still allowing a nice view of the canyon in the bg...

Wow ok, I don't get to say this much... but.. I think there is just a touch to much saturation and contrast in the first two pictures. The last ones looks great to me. Beautiful shots!

While the centred horizon line in the second and its darkness bug me a little, I must still say that this is a nice series of a place that I find I must go visit one day - I have only ever seen it in photos or on TV...

I think (want to believe) that the setting sun DID give you this deeply saturated red on the rocks in 1? I like that one best.

The only post processing I did to these pictures was up the contrast a tiny bit, and sharpened them. The rocks in the first picture were really that red in real life. It was pretty amazing when I saw it.

Wow... ok, I was wrong.... great capture.

I never tire of these kind of shots, might have something to do with the fact that the UK has nothing like it
