Old lens ... modern body

I lashed out and spent $60 on a 50+ year old lens to use on the fuji X-Pro1 and I thought why not play with it on my Nikon as well... adapters are very cheap..... it is a Yashica DS-M f2.8 135mm....the lens arrived today and as I had the nikon adapter the nikon was the first to test....a still life, with a little post work

While the lens seems to do a great job ... I think any lens would have rendered that composition and exposure well. In this shot the lens doesn't matter.

Thanks, yes I have tried it....but prefer colour

the lens is ok...noticeable vignetting and c/a....which doesn't worry me, I knew some of the issues before I bought the lens.
I am enjoying going back to just manual focusing, taking my time, the lens gives a lovely colour to the images that I have shot so far (2days total) it seems warmer than my nikon lenses, I am really hanging out to use it on the fuji X-pro1 but the adapter hasn't arrived as yet.

I also have a old 135mm f2.8, and I love that lens, it is well built and smooth!
