try the same shot several hours later/ealier to improve the lighting of the subject. You should be able to pull out more tonal/texture qualities with different lighting.

I like it. Have you played around with curves in Photoshop? Pretty good!

SlipKnot - I plan to go back there. I think that as spring progresses the light will move more to the right. There are a LOT of trees on both sides of the road, so I can't be sure what it'll look like 'til I go back.

Rere - Thanks for your kind words. I use Photoshop Elements. I converted to B&W, then adjusted the contrast "to taste". I'm not sure if that's the same as curves in Photoshop.
