Old studio pic

I did this shoot for a friend (free) a while back but finally got a chance to add it to my port. Any thoughts on how to improve it? It was a simple 2 lights setup, 1 soft box (main light) and 1 reflective umbrella (fill light), shot with my old Nikon 35-70mm f2.8 lens.

pretty nice shot... the left eye is a bit much in shadow.. no catchlight, almost raccoon'd. A bit more fill would have been nice. I even like the pose! It looks like you had two lights on her? Or a single and a reflector?

I also notice the right collarbone.. it is so defined (she has her weight on her arm, yes?)... it is a bit distracting. The shadow from the ear ring.. clone it out!

pretty nice shot... the left eye is a bit much in shadow.. no catchlight, almost raccoon'd. A bit more fill would have been nice. I even like the pose! It looks like you had two lights on her? Or a single and a reflector?

Two lights but I guess I mis-calculated the power of the fill light. I wanted to have a shadows for depth, maybe a little too much?

I also notice the right collarbone.. it is so defined (she has her weight on her arm, yes?)... it is a bit distracting. The shadow from the ear ring.. clone it out!

I specifically told her not to put weigh on that arm but I think her pose and the way the body was twisted exaggerated the profile of collar bone. Oh I didn't even notice the ear ring shadow...

a bit more fill would have been nice.. or a larger or lower light source, so that it would get under her brow a bit more. Yea.. it is always easier to see stuff in other people's photos.. than it is your own!
