Anyone have any experience or know anything about this old Tamron lens ?

I've contacted Tamron but have not received info on the mount type as yet.

Someone fairly local, has one for sale.
They know nothing about the lens, only that it belonged to a family member.

If it is for a Nikon, I'd make the trip ( approx 90 miles one way ) to try it.

Not much about it, that I could find. Link below has a little info but not mount type.

Tamron SP Adaptall-2 300mm F/2.8 LD Model 107B

I owned the later model for about four years, the 60B, which WAS an internal focusing design. Keep in mind, the 107B model is not an internal focusing lens. This is the common model--they sold a lot of these, as well as a neat 400mm f/3.5 of the same generation and barrel color. Tamron SP Adaptall-2 300mm F/2.8 LD-IF Model 60B

As far as mount type--it is an interchangeable mount! You could get use this lens on multiple different types of cameras, simply by swapping the "adaptall-2" mount. The system worked pretty well for me. So--the mount type is customizable by the user, and it takes only about 20 seconds to put the mount on, depending on how practiced you are.

Thanks Derrel.

... but would it would auto focus on a Nikon D7200 or 750 ?

If so ... and in descent shape ... is it worth $350 ?
