Olympic National Park--Photographic Recommendations?

What happened is....terrible. The client killed the work at the last minute (literally less than 4 days before I was to board my flight). I considered going out there on my own dime but it was too expensive. So I never made it out. I had hotel reservations, a schedule for my 1.5 days in ONP. A major disappointment.

Dang sorry to hear that. You need more than one day anyway.

What did you have scheduled?

First afternoon (after the client work finished) I was going to drive from Seattle to Sequim (I had points I could use for a Holiday Inn) and then do the falls at Crescent Lake the next morning. Then drive to Rialto Beach. Then drive back that night and get a hotel at the airport.

That's a great one-day itinerary. The only thing I'd do different is ride the ferry from Seattle to Bremerton then drive to Sequim instead of driving the whole way.

Hurricane Ridge is nice but the view faces south so the only time the sun is behind you is sunrise and sunset in the summer. It's pretty static from a photography standpoint too.

Well, you'll just have to plan a real trip out here someday. ONP is awesome. Cheers!

New client. I'll be in Seattle mid-October. I'm going to go early. I'll have 1.5 days. I think I'm going to go with the same plan as before. I'll keep y'all posted.
