Hi, I was wondering which of these cameras is a better buy. They are both about the same price. The HP comes with the photoshare dock. I just want one of these digital cameras for normal use. I am not a photographer, but i wan't a fairly powerful camera (5 mp is enough). I only want to pick between these two cameras.

I'm a little concerned about the small LCD on the HP. How do the HP and Olympus brands compare? Which has a better lense? Which is the better camera?

Thanks!

I'd take Olympus although I have never taken a photo with neither of this cam. Leave for example printers to HP... Olympus has better reputation simply because optics...

I'm a little worried about the 1.5in LCD on the HP. The Olympus has a 1.8in. Thanks for your help you guys. Also the HP doesn't have a ISO 50 like the the Olympus does. Do any of those things matter? I don't think the .3 MP difference will effect the picture quality much, will it?

I'm not bothered much by the LCD size, myself. My powershot has a 1,5" screen and my girlfriend's is 1,8". There is a difference and it's nice with extra clarity, but I think it's the last thing you should look at, since it doesn't affect the picture or overall camera feeling.

A friend has an olympus camera, and it has quite good quality. I am not sure of the HP.

I would go for the olympus. They have a better reputation in cameras.

May I ask why you aren't interested in others?
