It is my understanding that Olympus is now going to focus it's R&D on the micro4/3's line but any future advancements in technology will show up in the next generation full size 4/3's high end body.
They have also stated they are working on a mirrorless system but they won't integrate it until it is at least as good as the existing optical viewfinder.
They also stated they have no immediate plans to add any new lenses to the 4/3's line up but will continue to produce the lenses they now offer.
That's good enough for me. I will continue to use my two bodies for work in the studio and play in the great outdoors.
I plan on acquiring the SHG 14-35mm and 35-100mm before purchasing a E-5.
Now where did I put those lottery tickets
