OMG!!!! SQUIRREL!!!!!!

Finally got out with a camera for the first time this year. Was talking to the neighbor, and they had jays and cardinals and all sorts of winged critters at their feeders.

So after I got my chores done this morning, I went a huntin'......... and all the birds were gone.

So I picked another target.... a squirrel we've named Herman. I really just wanted to get out with my 70-200 and 1.7 TC.

Cute! Personally, the squirrel seems a touch underexposed.

awww ;-( He/She looks so cold and unhappy. I got a couple pictures and a video of a squirrel doing the same exact thing in a leafless tree, in my backyard. It was so sad looking. He was siting so still,with his paws tucked in. His body frozen still and bushy tail just getting blown around in the wind.
