On the cruise ship

My oldest daughter on the balcony of our cabin during a cruise last year. Light from the interior of the cabin miixed with the outdoor light to give pretty good illumination of her face.

And the same girl when she was little; One of my first attempts at developing and printing black and white film about 40 years ago

And my grandson hamming it up on deck

i dont know if its just me but the focus seems a little front focused on the 1st and 3rd photos.

Your younger eyes may be better than my 62 year-old eyes. That wouldn't be a surprise. However both photos appear to be reasonably well focused to me at this magnification.
I'll take a good look at them enlarged substantially and see if I can detect what you see.
