Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have been challenging myself lately to shoot moving subjects in full manual mode, focus points, ISO, everything fully manual except AF and IS.

It has been paying off this was a shot I had about 5 or 10 seconds to set up, I was about to throw in the towel waiting for it as soon as I put up my gear naturally it showed up of course. Anyone who has ever waited for a train knows what I'm talking about, you wait out there for hours on end then right about the time you say "F this" it arrives.

Ahaha you can see the driver.

I decided to crop it, sharpen certain areas and color correct it. Hope you don't mind!

Actually that does look a little better. I like it.

What programs did you use to do all that? I've been using LR3.

Nice edit, and a nice capture to begin with. I love that you can wait for hours and hours for a train, and just as you are packing up, it arrives. I have done it countless times with my father.

Regards,
Jake

I think this is a great shot.
It does look better edited but I think the initial photograph is brilliant. :)

SNIP...you wait out there for hours on end then right about the time you say "F this" it arrives.

Salmon fishing can be a lot like that...

Nice train shot. I love the exhaust distortion!

The blue diesel smokes like Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg at a NORML convention.

Very nice, especially for taking it in full manual mode!
