One ass kickin puzzle

Two trains 150 miles apart. The trains are both traveling 75 MPH. They are approaching each other on the same track. At the same time a bee on the front of train 1. Flys full speed to train 2. On arriving at train 2 it turns and repeats the flight to train 1. The bee continue this back an forth until the trans collide. The bee is traveling 136.63 mph
the question is. How many total miles will the bee have flown before the trains collided . Lots of back and forth.

If you can leave a answer but not the solution, as we might see how many can figure this out on their own

3 guys need to rent a room overnight.They find one,but the manager is away.However,the managers son is there,and they come to an agreement on $30 for the night.So each man ponies up $10 for a total of $30.All is well,and the 3 men retire to their room.Well, the manger returns,and informs the son he overcharged them.The room is only $25.He hands the son 5-$1.00 bills and instructs him to return the overcharge.As he is heading up the stairs,he wonders how to divide 5-$1.00 bills 3 ways.He decides it easier to just give them $1.00 each,and pockets the other $2.00.So he returns $1.00 to each of the 3 guests,effectively,only charging $9.00 each.
Well...3x9=27 + the $2.00 in his pocket = $29.00................where is the other dollar? I do not know the answer!

Two guys rent the same room, and pay $15 each. When the manager finds out, he gives his son $5. On the way to the room, the son pockets $3. Now, each guy gets back one dollar. They've both paid $14 for the room, 14x2 = 28. The son has 3. $28 + 3= 31. Where did the dollar come from?

They paid $27 for the room. The hotel has 25, and the managers son has 2.

Three men are captured while exploring in hitherto unknown land and they are captured by a tribe that has a strange initiation ceremony.

The men are shown 5 hats, two white, three black and then are tied securely to stakes in a row so that they can see only the men in front of them. The man at the end can see two men in front of him, the one in the middle sees only the man in front of him and the man in front sees no one.

They are then blindfolded and hats placed on their heads and told the game.
The blindfolds will be removed one by one, from the back to the front and each man will be given a chance to guess the color of hat they have on.
If they say they don't know, they will be beaten within an inch of their lives and then let go.
If they guess wrongly, they will be tortured to death.
If they guess correctly, they will be made rich and have their pick of the tribe for a wife.

The blindfold of the last man in the back is removed, he looks at the two blindfolded men in front of him, cried, "I don't know" and is taken away.
The blindfold of the second man is removed, he looks at the one man in front of him and cried, "I don't know" and is taken away.
The first man then cries out,"I know" and he is right.

It's all in the way the 'puzzle' is presented.

In the first one, each of the people have paid $9. 9x3 = 27. The hotel ends up with 25 of it, and the thieving son has 2. 25+2=27.

In my post, the two have paid $14 each. 14x2= 28. The hotel has 25, the thieving son 3. 25+3=28.

After 15 minutes, the train traveling from city A to city B slows down to 15mp. Five minutes later, the train traveling from city B to city A accelerates to 30 mph.

At some point, the two trains will pass each other. When they do, the train traveling from city A to city B accelerates to 25 mph. At the same time, the train traveling from city B to city A slows down to 15mp.

Fifteen minutes later, the train traveling from city A to city B stops for 3 minutes, and the train traveling from city B to city A stops for four minutes.

When they both resume their course, they both travel at 20 mph until they reach the other city.

The calculation assumption is incorrect. The room rate was 25. 25+2=27 is what they actually paid. 27+3(their refund)=30. Another way of looking at this is 25 for the room +2 in the thief's pocket and 3 refunded =30.
