How is this? CC welcome - trying something different.

Here are my settings:
Exposure: 0.02 sec (1/50)
Focal Length: 135 mm
ISO Speed: 3200

Nice idea; a couple of thoughts: (1) A reflector image right would have helped to reduce the overly harsh shadows caused by the main light and (2) The composition doesn't quite work for me. I'd like to see the ring near, but not on the text; as it is, I find myself trying to read the passage, but being interupted by the ring. Additionally, my preference is for one out of focus area, either foreground or background, but not both. You've made very good use of selective focus; perhaps a little too good? Overall I like it, and I think you're making some excellent progress. Keep it up!
